Best Pictures of the Season

by

If you’ve been reading the blog for any length of time, you’ve probably noticed that Maggie does most of the writing while Ashley takes the pictures. Well, all of those shots have added up – Ashley took over 3,500 baseball pictures this season. About 900 of them were uploaded to the First Ladies Picasa account for your viewing pleasure. Because this number might intimidate some people, we have gone through them all and picked out our favorite ten. Without further ado…

This picture was taken opening day – in the heat of the summer it was hard to remember how pretty spring was!

Screech always starts the game off right.

This is the top of the visitor’s dugout. Ashley sometimes hung out there before the game to watch batting practice.

We had several good seats in the outfield, which gave us great opportunities to watch these guys.

Our favorite outfielder was Njyer Morgan because he was fun to watch on offense and defense. He owns this base.

We’re sucker’s for “the maaaaain event!”

Another group of players we enjoyed watching were the pitchers. Tyler Clippard looks like he’s busting a move here.

Even off the field, pitchers are intense. Be the ball Bisenius, be the ball.

Pudge did a great job keeping all the pitchers in line.

Saving the best for last… Ashley worked all season to get this picture of Adam Dunn blowing giant bubbles on the field.

This top ten list was narrowed down from about 90 of our favorites from the year. Which ones would you have picked to be on this list?
